Run The Marathon

The Harrisburg Marathon is the perfect small town marathon. Run your first marathon with our friendly volunteers. Bring your family and enjoy the region's hospitality, or use our flat, fast course to qualify for Boston. Logistics for this marathon are uncomplicated, unlike the big city marathons.

Our course travels along the beautiful Susquehanna River, through wooded Wildwood Lake Park (the only short, rolling part of the marathon), and traverses the Harrisburg Greenbelt. It starts and finishes on Harrisburg's recreational City Island.

The marathon course is certified by USATF (Certification No. PA09034WB). The modified 2010 will be certified as a Boston Qualification course.
