   Using The Harvey Taylor Bridge:

The Harvey Taylor Bridge also crosses the Susquehanna River less than one half mile north of City Island. You may find yourself using this bridge "unexpectedly" so if you are from out-of-town, you may wish to print the maps of the Harvey Taylor Bridge and the West "Shore" of the Susquehanna River. In Central PA the east and west sides of the Susquehanna are referred to as the East and West Shores, respectively. Downtown Harrisburg is on the East Shore. The Radisson Hotel, in Camp Hill, is on the West Shore.

The Harvey Taylor Bridge connects Forster Street in Downtown Harrisburg and the Harvey Taylor Bypass in Camp Hill. If you are traveling toward the River on Forster Street and plan on turning onto Front Street in Downtown Harrisburg, there are No Turns at Front Street. You will have to cross the bridge.
