We hope you find the answers to your questions here.
A - We’re sorry but all of the necessary timing mats and water stations will not be in place for runners to start the marathon at 6:30 AM. Please appreciate the extra burden this would place on our volunteers. If you do not believe you can complete the course by the 2:30 PM course closure, please register as a walker or e-mail the Race Director.
A - Yes, everyone, relayers, walkers, and runners can register on-line at Active.com. Forms are also available for anyone who wishes to download a registration form and mail it in. Please see the registration page for more information.
A - Unfortunately, we cannot provide a shuttle. However, with one vehicle, several sets of keys, and some advanced planning, relay teams should be able to get each of their runners to their exchange points.
A - Unfortunately, we are unable to provide pacers. However, you may be interested in using a Pace Wristband or Pace Tattoo. Check out these websites:
Wristbands at Marathon Guide.com

A - Boston will be using the Harrisburg Marathon Chip Timing results to determine qualifications for their marathon. As of this year, Chip Timing will be the official timing system for our Marathon, rather than clock time.
A - Mats will be at the Start and Finish lines, and near the 13 mile mark (approximately half way). We will also set clocks up at key locations, where possible.
