The Crowne Plaza will be the Marathon Hotel. It is located at 23 South Second Street, Harrisburg PA 17101. A special marathon rate and late check-out time will be offered, based upon availability. More details will be provided very soon.

New 11-11-11 - Breakfast - The Crowne Plaza will have breakfast available for runners at 5:30 AM on race day. They will serve bagels, bananas, muffins, breakfast bars, coffee, and juice. This is compimentary breakfast for Race Participants Only.

City Island Info

Free parking is available on City Island the day of the race.

Note:  The Walnut Street Bridge is a Pedestrian Bridge Only. Use the Market Street Bridge to drive to City Island.

Closure of Market St. Bridge For Beginning of Race:

All lanes from Downtown Harrisburg to City Island on the Market Street Bridge will be closed for the start of the Marathon from approximately 8:20 AM to 8:40 AM.  All participants make sure you are on City Island by 8:10 AM.

The best vantage point for spectators at the begining of the race is on the east, Downtown Harrisburg, side of the Market Street Bridge, NOT City Island.

Carousel Pavilion on City Island is the location of Packet Pick Up on Sunday. It is also the location of post-race food and race awards. NOTE the location for Packet Pickup on Saturday may be changed. Please check this website for info before you pick up your race packet.
