  Chip Timing:

Every Relay Team will receive one Timing Chip and Velcro Ankle Band. The chip must be passed from one runner to the next at the Relay Exchange Points. The chip must be secured around the runner's ankle to activate when crossing each of the Timing Mats. If the chip is in your hand or pocket, it will not activate, and if your Team's chip does not activate at every mat - your team will NOT be eligible for an award.

Every Team you compete against will have to take the time to secure the ankle chip. All teams will be equal in this regard.
